Reaching Early Creatives provides free, industry-standard training in music production to young people with limited access to creative outlets. Through self-expression, mentorship, and skill-building, we support academic engagement, build confidence, and help students prepare for long-term personal and community impact.

The Core Series
Our free workshop series for students ages 13–18. These sessions introduce key areas of music creation:

  • Beat Basics 101 & 102 – Sequencing, drum programming, and basic mixing

  • Power in the Pen 101 & 102 – Songwriting and lyrical development

  • Get on Track 101 & 102 – Studio recording and tracking fundamentals

Music Tech Residency Program
An in-school model that brings REC instructors, curriculum, and equipment directly into classrooms. Residencies are designed for schools looking to build or strengthen their music technology offerings.

Pro Tools Specialist Certification
Live, instructor-led training in PT101 and PT110 that prepares students to take the Avid Certified | Pro Tools Specialist exam. This credential is recognized by studios, post-production teams, and academic institutions nationwide. Open to ages 18 and up.
